Ira Hermann, CLU®, ChFC®

Wealth Management Advisor

Ira HermannIra Hermann is one of Northwestern Mutual Financial Network’s leading Financial Representatives based in Newport Beach, Calif. Since joining the Network in 1981, he has achieved a level of success that only a few can enjoy. In fact, he has ranked as one of the company's Top 10 Representatives (1992-2006) and has mentored many others along the way.

In 1999, Ira Hermann began his association with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation through a client and friend, who is raising two children living with the disease. Since then, he has contributed countless hours and funds to help find a cure.

Ira Hermann is also a committed and enduring supporter of several community groups, including Orangewood Children’s Home, the only emergency shelter in Orange County, Calif., for neglected and sexually, physically or mentally-abused children. He also is an ardent sponsor of Special Olympics and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

 

Curt Carlson

Curt CarlsonCurt has been a financial representative since 1989. He is a graduate of South Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business.

Curt currently resides in Monarch Beach with his wife, Renee and son, Cole.

Curt enjoys traveling, cycling, snowboarding, reading and spending time with friends and family

 

 

Tyler Terry

Financial Advisor

Tyler TerryTyler Terry has been a financial representative with The Waltos Group since 1993. Tyler is a graduate from the University of Arizona where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Finance.

Throughout his career, Tyler has won a number of awards, including the National Sales Achievement Award (1999-2000, 2002-2003, 2006), Million Dollar Round Table Qualifying Member (1997, 1999-2004, 2007-2008), and the National Quality Award (1996, 2000-2008).

Tyler resides in Newport Beach, CA with his beautiful wife Pam and their 3 children Ted, Tom, and Ellie.

 

John Kompaniez

Financial Advisor

 John KompaniezJohn Kompaniez has been a financial representatie of The Waltos Group since 1995, starting his financial representative career after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from the University of Redlands. John chose the career because he wanted to be in business for himself and help people protect and reach their financial goals.

Outside of work, John is an avid athlete. He participates in the Tour De Cure for diabetes and enjoys Triathlons and Water ski racing.

 

Kathleen Turner, CLU®

Financial Representative

 Kathleen TurnerKathie joined Northwestern Mutual in 1987 after finishing her Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology at UCLA and her MBA from Pepperdine University.  Kathie is a second generation Financial Representative, whose Father who was with Northwestern Mutual for over 30 years at his time of retirement.  Kathie works primarily with Business Owners and Professionals providing solutions to Business and Personal Financial Security Needs.  Kathie’s assistant Carol is a vital part of her organization and has partnered with Kathie in servicing her clients for over 18 years.

Kathie and her family are active members of their community, serving several Homes under the Catholic Worker umbrella which attend to the needs of the Homeless Populations in Orange County.  They are also very active in the Youth Ministry Program at St Norbert Church in Orange.  Kathie has two daughters who attend Villa Park High School and Chapman University.

  

 

Brandon Burton

Financial Advisor

 Brandon BurtonBrandon Burton was born and raised in Orange County. Brandon currently lives in Newport Beach with his wife Jacque.

Brandon's career started in the United States Marine Corps. This included taking charge of fellow Marines at all times, maintaining millions of dollars of equipment, and Serving two tours of Combat in Iraq.

His ambition is to help individuals, families and businesses achieve their goals. Brandon is committed to helping people realize how they can create their wealth, accumulate it, and most importantly, protect it.

Brandon is also passionate about aiding in the change and commitment to making our community stronger with his support to organizations such as Big Brother and Big Sister of Orange County and CHOC Hospital.

 

Misty DeLomba, CLU®, ChFC®

 Misty DeLombaMisty DeLomba joined the Waltos Group in 2007 after completing a degree in Business Finance from California State University, Long Beach. Her mission is to help individuals and businesses attain financial security in the areas of  asset and income protection and accumulation.

 She is an avid believer in continuous learning and growth, and holds her Charted Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations.

Misty is an active member in her community, and participates in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County, Humane Society, and the CSULB Corporate Mentoring Program. She also sits on the board for the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors as the Government Relations Chair.

 

Nathan Allen Fikse

Financial Representative

Nathan FikseNathan was born and raised in the Southern California area of Orange County.  He currently resides in Aliso Viejo with his wife Pam and their dog Gibbs.

Nathan attended UCLA where he played all four years as a punter/placekicker for the Bruins under Coach Bob Toledo.  Nathan achieved All-Pac 10 honors as well as All- American Honors.

Nathan started his professional career in the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers and also with the New Orleans Saints.  He also Played abroad in NFL Europe for the Amsterdam Admirals. After the NFL Nathan went on to head an Asset Management Firm based in Los Angeles, where he acted as Operations and Project Manager as well as Development Manager for the 250 million dollar portfolio that was comprised of real estate properties and other investment assets.

Nathan’s drive and purpose is to help individuals, families and business develop tax efficient and cost effectives strategies to achieve financial independence and protect their hard earned dollars and assets.

Nathan is also committed to his community by getting involved with Bruin Varsity Club, OC Bruins, UCLA Chancellors Assoc, Susan G. Komen, Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation, Mariners Christian School, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Chapman Argyos School of Business.  

 

Thomas Freeman Jr

Financial Representative

 Thomas Freeman JRTom Freeman was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and he relocated to Orange County 9 years ago. Married to Denene, they have four children of which two will be heading off to College in the Fall and two will attend the local High School.

Tom has a background in operations and has worked in the private and public sector throughout his career. Since joining  Northwestern Mutual Tom has built a practice based on helping individuals, families and business owners. He specializes in helping his clients understand why it is important to plan, both for the present but also for the short and long term horizon. By utilizing strategies specific to his client’s needs, Tom has been able to help people recognize their goals.

If Tom is not working, you might find him at the local High School working out with the water polo team or just relaxing on the beach with the family. Tom recently joined the Monarch Beach Rotary and he is slated to join the board for the Boy’s and Girl’s Club of  Capistrano Valley. When he can fit in a little extra time for himself, you will find him preparing for his CLU course work.

  

 

Kevin Healy

Financial Representative

Kevin Patrick HealyKevin Healy has been a Financial Representative with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network since 2002. Before becoming a Financial Representative, Kevin Healy was an advertising and marketing consultant for 18 years.

In addition to his role as a financial representative, Kevin serves as the Long-Term Care Specialist for The Waltos Group. He helps individual and corporate clients understand their long-term care insurance needs and designs solutions tailored to their unique situation.

 

Henry Hoang, CLU®

Financial Representative

Henry HoangHenry Hoang has been with The Waltos Group since he was only a Freshman, studying Business Finance at California State University, Long Beach. From the internship program, Henry found that it was a passion of his to inspire his clients to take action to provide financial security for themselves and the ones they love most. In the three years of the internship program, Henry was amongst the leaders in the nation of one of the top ranked internships in America.

Upon graduation in May 2010, Henry transitioned to a full-time Financial Representative with The Waltos Group. In addition to serving his clients and the community with their financial needs, Henry achieved his Chartered Life Underwriter designation to bring greater value to his clients.

When not helping clients realize their financial goals, Henry can be found participating in basketball tournaments with some of his best friends or spending quality time with family and friends. As a firm believer of giving back to the community, he also enjoys being a “Big” in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County.

 

Michael Oliver

Financial Representative

Michael OliverAfter seven years in the public relations industry, Mike Oliver wanted a career that would be meaningful and allow him more flexibility. Mike was eager to find a field that would provide him with an opportunity to serve as a conduit for change...and that it did. Through financial services, Mike is looked at as the specialist who can help clients find the answers to cure what we often lose sleep over ...our financial worries. Whereas medical physicians help save lives, financial professionals are best known to help save lifestyles!

Mike Oliver is a member of Los Angeles Urban League of Young Professionals. Mike graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communication from the California State Polytechnic of Pomona.

Mike enjoys golfing, reading, traveling, playing basketball, and being with loved ones.

 

Lisa Tran, CFP®

Financial Advisor

Lisa LeLisa Tran graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of California in Irvine with a double major in Economics and International Studies and a minor in Management. Upon graduation, she received Phi Beta Kappa recognition and Honors in Economics.

Lisa has a strong commitment to family and community. She enjoys participating in the many community events, sponsored by The Waltos Group, including the Toshiba Senior Classic—one of the largest annual events in Orange County and hosts the finest field of professional golfers all year.

The Toshiba Senior Classic is also a tremendous fundraiser. The tournament has donated more than $7.8 million to charity in the last eight years, by far the most on the PGA Champions Tour. The Waltos Group sponsorship will support Hoag Hospital and several other charities that help improve lives in their own backyard.
