Bob Waltos—Professional Accomplishments Managing Partner Bob Waltos joined Northwestern Mutual Financial Network as a college agent in Lincoln, Nebraska, in 1983. Through 1991, Bob achieved numerous company awards as a personal producer, became a Top 20 Field Director, and served as Assistant to the Managing Director in Omaha, Nebraska. Bob came to the Home Office in 1993 and held the positions of Assistant Regional Director of Agencies, Director of Recruitment and New Agent Development, and Managing Director in the Life Marketing Department. In June 1999, Bob assumed Managing Partner responsibilities for The Waltos Group and is responsible for the office's sales and service operations in Orange, Riverside, Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties.
Bob Waltos—Credentials Bob Waltos has a degree in business management from Peru State College, and a Masters in the Science of Financial Services (MSFS) and a Masters in the Science of Management (MSM) from American College. He also completed the Advanced Management College of Stanford University. His professional designations include Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL). Bob has also earned the Certified Financial PlannerTM (CFP®) certification. He is also a member of The Financial Planning Association. Local Recognition In the annual rating of Orange County's Top 20 Insurance Brokers by the Orange County Business Journal, The Waltos Group consistently ranks in the Top 15. OC Metro Business Lifestyle Magazine regularly publishes various business articles on behalf of Bob Waltos and other Financial Representatives at The Waltos Group. Community Commitment
The Waltos Group recently created a “Future Women in Business Scholarship" at the university. The scholarship rewards outstanding female college-level students based on academic achievement, business acumen and community involvement. Bob Waltos is also a recipient of Northwestern Mutual's Community Service Award. The award recognizes network representatives whose outstanding dedication to local organizations has significantly bettered their communities.
